Hampton Inn & Suites Vicksburg

Entering the hotel, it is real nice. Got to my room, there were lady bugs and Stink bugs all over the room. Went down and ask for another room. Same thing but more. Went down again asked for higher floor. Same thing, not just one or two, 15 or more. Finally got a room on another floor that only had 4 in the room, which I caught with a face towel and flushed. Got into bed, another one under the sheets. I travel all over the US and have never seen a Hilton Hotel with so many bug problems. Spoke to the mgr the next morning while driving and she said “we have this problem every year and they go all the way to Ohio”. Would not credit the room, would not even give free points. I would not stay there again if it was the last hotel with empty rooms available. Sad hotel and really sad management!

Stayed here a few months back with the family, and we had a good experience. Obviously there was construction going on and the experience could have been better because of that, but the staff was friendly and the breakfast was fine. I would like to come here again after renovations are done.

The staff is great but the owner's priorities seem to be elsewhere. There's was a freshly paved parking lot but my room had no bedside lamps. The pillows are flat. The bathroom was disgusting and I skipped showering. The AC had one setting which was loud. It's a shame too because the hotel itself is not in bad shape.

We appreciated the phone call from the front desk after we checked in to see if we needed anything. We ended up having to change rooms for one that would work better for us. kashandra was very helpful in finding a new room, and personally delivered the new keys to us. She was very kind and responsive to our request.

Cycled through four rooms. The first had a filthy toilet seat. The second smelled of urine. The third seemed fine at first, only to have bugs roaming around everywhere once we got settled. The fourth had stains on top of bugs and so we left. Lobby looked nice. As a silver lining, the staff were helpful and even provided us with a refund. Still would not visit again.
