Red Roof Inn Walterboro

I was, and still am, more than pleased either my night’s stay at the Walterboro Red Roof Inn. |Having had a very poor experience at a neighboring hotel I decided to try the Red Roof inn on my return trip. |The manager greeted me on arrival and seeing my difficulty with stairs gave me a complimentary upgrade to a first floor room. The room was fresh and very clean. It had a designated parking space right at the door and the inn welcomed pets at no additional charge|The manager explained that since she had taken over management of the inn she had cleaned the rooms and the client list and was proud of the resulting improvements. |I found a welcoming place to spend the night at a very reasonable price and would recommend this as a stopover on travels on the I95 corridor. |The outdated negative

Positive: ( staff) worked hard to fix the unbelievable nightmare that ( Manager) and her rude, threatening, confrontational husband ( not even an employee of the hotel) are to this hotel. Negative: The treatment from the manager and her husband, roaches in the room, parking arrangements, rude manager.

Price quoted online with fees and taxes was $55.94. I was charged $68.02. First two rooms given to us reeked of cat urine. Third room smelled okay but was in complete disrepair. Worth $30 at most. Very disappointed. Dixie at the front desk was very nice.

We arrived to discover I had book a room upstairs but my husband has mobility issues Miss Dixie fixed it in just a few minutes The room was clean lovely shower curtain and matching bed spread good Rb and a gazebo in the yard where the dog and I sat out for an hour . She gave us directions and suggestions for food. We had a great chat when I came for a coffee later in the evening She makes RedRoof my choice in Walterboro

Be Aware of the Roach Hotel! This had to be the worst experience for my husband and I. We checked into this hotel and checked out in 4 hours. Roaches, roaches, and more roaches. The front desk clerked showed no empathy for our complaint. While checking out she came to the room and began turning the lights while we were gathering our belongings. When asked what she was doing, she stated we checked out. Yes, we did and have the right to get our stuff w/o you in our room. She threatened to call the police if we didn't stop talking. Girl! Call the police! You're the one in the wrong. How are we being disrespected and treated badly because we don't do Roaches! Now, requesting a refund for the stay because we checked and paid for another hotel across the street, much nicer and cleaner, and no ro
