Red Roof Inn Tinton Falls - Jersey Shore

I had to leave where i was living for a week as floors in house were being refinished .||October of 2025 I stayed here after I had booked a room at Best Western, which said they were pet friendly. Apparently not a Labrador service he woofed once and a second time during check in process and was turned away. ||So I called the Red Roof Inn. ||When i called they gave me a very nice comfortable room on lower level as I'm 72.||So when I needed to stay at a hotel again on December 26th because my home was not ready and the family friend who had brought my moms home violated our written contract. ||I again booked the Red Roof Inn, in Freehold, NJ. ||The rooms are large comfortable, Mr Shah and Mrs Shah are very friendly, also Mr. and Mrs Patel||I have had a very good experience here and clean

I wanted something close to the shore but not really expensive. The room was clean, had everything I would need. First problem was the thermostat didn't work, assuming the batteries were dead. Heat sort of worked, would cycle on for a couple minutes then shut off, some sort of mode to keep the room tolerable when not in use maybe. But there was enough heat to make it through the night. Second issue was the mattress was worn out long ago. You could see the evidence before you sat on it which then made it clear the mattress needs to be replaced, no support at all. So, I've stayed here before and will try it again, last time here was better though.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The room smelt Bad. The light switches didn't work. Their was a shower chair with soap on it. And the bathroom dimely lit. It was disgusting.

I’ll be honest, our stay at the Red Roof Inn in Tinton falls was pretty rough. I’ll start by saying that all the staff I talked to was very friendly, that’s about all the good I have to say about it. Walking into our room we were met with a very strange oder. If I had to guess it was probably bug spray because not even 5 minutes of being in the room we started finding roaches. A fairly significant number of them, mostly in our bathroom and sink area, but a few on our bed as well. Which brings me to the bed, our sheets were disgusting. They had yellow stains all over them, they had a cheap feel to them, and they had cigarettes holes in them. They didn’t change sheets once the week we stayed. This one was easily the nastiest location I've ever stayed in. Roaches and hair on the toilets, the tub looked dirty as well. I've stayed in Red roofs inn before and their rooms was always pretty decent except this one. Not to mention the manager Mary or whoever she was very rude too. Not worth your $$$. I doubt they even clean the towels either.
