Red Roof Inn & Suites Cincinnati North - Mason

Had no issues with checking in, room was exactly what I reserved and had no issues during our stay. Parking lot is fine, staff is fine, breakfast was fine when we were there for the hours available. Will return to property when in the area again due to location is convenient and price is going. Lots of stuff around for food and entertainment. Would recommend

stayed 3 nights with my toddler and boyfriend, a Thursday to a Saturday. great location, close to the highway and plenty of fun activities and places to eat! very friendly and helpful staff! great price, as well! our room was clean and comfortable, exactly what I expected for the price! they do have smoking rooms available, so keep that in mind if you don't like cigarette or green smell! one small suggestion, I wish they'd take breakfast off the website. there was coffee available, but no breakfast! just a very small thing, it doesn't affect my score at all.

We are exploring all options of traveling with our dog. This is our first hotel in the budget area who accepts pets. First of all, they have all the people with pets in the same section of the hotel. I understand their thought process but it was kind of like having your hotel room in a kennel. One dog barks they all bark. That we could live with. We also had repeated key issues. The biggest issue was that for whatever reason this cigarette smoke in the hallway was overwhelming. My partner has allergies and the smoke really hurt his sleeping. Also I found it to be not only cigarette smoke but somebody was smoking pot. We notified the hotel and they said basically we were in the smoking section. However, as you can see from the photos, this is a non-smoking hotel so there was no smoking

Positive: location and price Negative: It could use some minor cosmetic repairs like paint. There was a smell of weed as i walked into the lobby and a different smell in the room. The lack of breakfast is a negative to me since they used to have it and still have the room to do it with.

Hallways stunk of cigarettes. Interior bathroom door was previously damaged. Could tell the room was hardly cleaned before we got there: stains on ceiling, wall, phone. If I keep nitpicking, saw some cobwebs over the bathroom sink area. But for a red roof that is pet friendly? Really wasn't bad. The one maid wasn't that friendly and didn't want to help with towels, but I figure maybe she had only so many for her cart? Plus, the front desk was more than willing to help replenish our towels.
