Red Roof Inn Los Banos

The red roof inn is a very basic hotel. Even the deluxe room is not really deluxe. I was disappointed that they only clean the rooms once a day. In the mornings before 9am. I did not want my room cleaned until later and it was not. I did not get fresh towels or my bed made. However, the room was very inexpensive , so i paid for what I got. There was no pool or Jacuzzi it is just a big empty concrete hole and there was old mattresses needing to be trashed which made the property look very unkempt and d and run down. There were lots of items that needed maintenance in the room and there was no screen in the bathroom window , so i could not open it without lots of gnats flying in. However , as i said i paid for what i got.

Extremely dirty. This turned out to be a terrible experience of all the motels we have stayed. We stay in motels when we travel on budget and we are not too needy, but this was a nightmare. We had noisy neighbors, literally shouting at the top of their voices. They started drinking right outside our room and seemed very terrifying. When we notified the reception, the concierge seemed to know these guests and told us he cannot do anything at the moment. He said he will call them and ask them to keep the voices low but that never happened until 3am. The room was super dirty, towels were not changed, there was rust all over, toilet was not cleaned, low on toilet paper. I wonder if it's even hygienic. I strongly recommend again this motel. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Comfortable bed. Girl at front desk was super friendly... No carpet which was nice, But floor wasn't mopped. Bathroom sink backed up while I was brushing my teeth. Dead roach by toilet and dead spider on window. Bathroom really needed work!! A/C worked great. Ice machine broken but front desk will give u ice. Hotel bit down the street has better/cleaner rooms for bout same rate.

I really enjoyed my stay. Got a good deal for one night. At first when I pulled into the front office I was a little bit sketched out. I thought one building...where's the rest of it? As soon as I walked up to the door I could see the rooms. The outside does not do this place justice. The office was really clean & nicely set. The lady at the front desk was super nice. I go into my room & instantly felt comfortable. It was clean, smelled clean, & I loved the theme they chose, I even liked the bathroom & I usually like that part of the room the least. I guess it's been 2 years since the new owner got the place & in my opinion they did an awesome job. This was also probably the quietest motel I've ever been to. Love that their pet friendly, if you bring one pet its free & if you have multiple

This budget inn shows signs of a slapdash refresh recently executed. The motel was clean and the price reasonable. There are certainly worse places to spend a night. I was unhappy that they cancelled my reservation after not being able to reach me on the phone after my credit card was declined. I verified that the person I spoke with to reserve the room copied both of these down wrong. This lack of attention to detail could have left me out in the cold had demand been higher. I would encourage the owner to train their employees a bit more in simply repeating these important details to clients when reserving rooms.
