Los Banos Motel

Freshly renovated, spotless property. Enjoyed a restful night's sleep, and the customer service was exceptional. Highly recommend for anyone passing through the town.||Fast food and restaurants up the street. Espana’s seems like the go to place in town.

Cozy, clean, great price. The Los Banos Hotel, under new management, was a clean and inviting place for me during a rather difficult time. Upon moving to this town in Jun of 2009 for work I had no place to live and was trying to buy my own home. With limited funds I ended up at this hotel and was not only given a great deal on the room but the staff went out of their way to make my stay better. Clean room and bed that was cleaned meticulously every day while I was working. Nothing beats getting off work and having a fresh and clean room to come to. I would highly recommend this place to the weekend traveler or people looking for a longer stay.

My family and I stayed at this motel for three weeks. During our stay my kids and I would wake up itchy ask over our body. We were getting bite. This motel has a bed bug infestation. They did nothing to solve the problem during our stay. They bevy offered us another room. They never cleaned the room the whole time we were there for the three weeks we stayed there. Since I paid weekly at the motel the said our business was no longer wanted at the motel. When our rent is due to just move out. The whole time we were there they wouldn't offer clean beddings. We never got towels from them. We would ask for toilet paper and they would say they don't have any. So I would go to the store and buy toilet paper. Every day the power would go out in the room. Overall its a wonderful place to stay the staff (mngrs.) are curteous and friendly.. I stayed for an extended stay and got great service, noticed they had certain companies staying there for there temporary living quarters for work which is awesome. They have big spacious rooms and kitchen area with table, counter top and sink with a mini fridge. Bathrooms are spacious. Maid service was excellent! Fast clean service all around. They have laundry area very inexpensive. Parking lot area well maintained. I really enjoyed our stay there. I will definately stay here again no doubt.. It is absolutely a home away from home. In my March, 2012 review of this motel I said that it was clean and comfortable and, though older, was well maintained and comfortable. Unfortunately, in my February, 2013, stay I found it had slipped considerably. While the staff were as cordial and helpful as the last time, the room was definitely not as clean or well maintained. The carpet, especially, was "gross" to say the least. The coffee maker appeared not to have been cleaned; I wouldn't use it. The drapes covered the heater/ AC which meant that when engaged they flew out across the room. Sadly, I'll look else where on my next trip through the central valley.
