La Plaza Inn Los Banos

We just stayed at this Hotel. We were scared because of bad reviews. It turned out so good. We had a good night sleep recovery after a quinceañera party. The lady at the counter was super sweet, she accommodated our family even though we didn’t have a prior reservation since all hotels were booked in Los Baños that weekend. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Overall is a decent room for a decent price. It’s quiet too.

I appreciated being able to show up late with my dog and get a room with no reservation, but this place needs some serious cleaning. There was a big stain on the chair and stains on the bed. Everything was dusty and the fixtures looked like they hadn’t been wiped down in years. There was no toilet paper and the shower looked sketchy, too. I took a shower with flip flops on because it was pretty gross. The room was large and wouldn’t be so bad if it was just cleaner.

No smoking rooms witch is fine but let you have a sweater or clothes that smell like smoke in the room, they will take $750 from you even though you pay a $100 deposit in the beginning. The staff kept charging my card over and over for different amounts! I had no choice then to report my card as lost or stolen because they took so much money from me!! Never again!!! If your coming from out or town go to the best western across the street!

I have had the worst stay at this motel, I paid for two nights, I arrived to the motel early in the morning to and had the manager basically tell me that I’m not allowed to have two cars parked in the parking lot, I paid for just myself to stay but had family visiting me told that I couldn’t have to many people in my room when it was just me and one other person, I do not recommend staying here unless you enjoy rude hospitality, the room is horrible, the bathroom was disgusting, there’s dirt marks on the walls, the bathtub was cracked, they just didn’t put much effort in to cleaning. I will never stay here again.

Not clean, nosy, towels are thread bare, no soap, lights were a hit and miss. I was exhausted and hardly slept a wink due to the walls being so thin.|It was one of those hotels where you don’t want to step on the floor in your bare feet for fear of catching something. |A two bit town and two bit hotel||Would never stay there again. |
