Red Roof Inn Lafayette - Purdue University

I have been staying at this red roof for about a month now and it is by far the nicest red roof in the whole greater area. The housekeeping is great and is very friendly and the grounds is very well kept and front desk is always helpful and friendly very quiet hotel as well no riff Raff you get at your normal hotels. I would recommend anyone who has pets to stay at this red roof. You won't be disappointed!!

This is a MUST NOT STAY HERE PLACE!!. We checked in at 4:30 pm and checked out about 7 pm. We were 2 women with our dogs going to a trial. The price was right! Upon arrival on the top floor you had guys standing and watching you come and go out of your room. The one room was so small about all that fit in there was the king bed. The carpet upon entering the room was thilthy dirty, above the head board the walls needed painted. It was dark in the room even with the lights on and curtain open. The extra lock on the door was not even attached. We went down the road to another place and they were able to accommodate us for the night at not much of an increase in price. I tried to get my money back as I told the owner that we did not feel safe there. He said his family and him lived the

Positive: Location close to the highway Negative: 3rd world experience, about as bad as you can imagine. Dirty, old, noisy, seedy, sketchy - if that's your thing you'll love it. My dog has higher standards and wanted to sleep in the car.

I’ve stayed here 2 different nights, 2 different rooms and I’ll say, this is a veryyy nice hotel and more than reasonable prices. I’ve paid 3 times this for rooms this quality. And stayed in many hotels, this is up there with the best if not the best in price range compared. Shower pressure on point. Staff is great, overall I’m very happy and I’ll be staying in only this hotel from now on. Akil the front desk attendant is very professional and well mannered. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. We have stayed at Red Roof Inns previously, so after looking at reviews of this property we booked a room. We also saw the pictures on the website which seem to show decent looking rooms. Unfortunately our experience did not match the reviews and website pictures. This property is subpar at best. I would not recommend staying here unless you are desperate and there's nothing else available. We paid over $200 for a night which was obviously inflated due to events at Purdue, including a home football game. The reality is it's not worth paying more than a quarter of that amount, and that's being generous. I have included some pictures we took to for perspective.
