Hampton Inn Lafayette

The lady was very nice and helpful both times I checked in. The room was clean and while the building itself is a bit older the room is modern and well maintained. Breakfast was good and had your typical options. Only downside was It's location is right beside the highway and being able to hear the highway all night. Overall I Would definitely suggest this hotel to anyone wanting a decent play stay that not going to break the bank.

Needed an overnight stop close to the highway during a multi-day drive with my dog. Based on very reasonable fee and being dog-friendly, I was not expecting such a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful on check-in. Room was clean, well stocked, and had a nice, cold fridge. Indoor pool was awesome. Bed was very comfortable and the free breakfast was better than I had a few weeks earlier at a B&B. Highly recommend for any traveler, but especially for those traveling with a dog.

The staff was excellent. Everyone was professional, yet very friendly. The website doesn't do the breakfast menu justice. It had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and breakfast potatoes. It also had waffles with a couple of batters to choose. There also was hot oatmeal. The waffles and oatmeal had several toppings and additions. There were pastries, fruit, fruit juices, cereal, and several juice options. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The same for thr bathroom - the shower was very nice - and could be made quite hot, if wanted. The bed was comfortably firm. However, the springs could be distinctly heard when moving about (the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars).

I just wanted to share a really positive review. I took my youngest son to college in Chicago. All of the hotel rooms were quite expensive, so on the way to Chicago, my son found this hotel for me. I only drove a couple hours south after I left Chicago. When I checked in, a very nice young lady, Emily, found me an ADA room. I asked her if there would be anyone to help me with the breakfast in the morning since I couldn't reach the food myself. She left a note for the breakfast attendant so that I could just give my room number to the front desk and someone would assist me. That is exactly what happened. A lovely lady named Deanna not only helped me with my plate but also helped me make a cup of coffee. It made my stay so much easier and enjoyable. This is a really nice place to stay. I wi
