TownePlace Suites by Marriott Lafayette

I recently booked this hotel due to work. I had seen quite a few negative reviews, but since it was the most suitable size for three people and conveniently located near a grocery store and a Tesla Supercharger, I decided to ignore the bad reviews and give it a try. Based on what I had read, I even prepared disinfectant spray, air freshener, and personal sleeping bags just in case. After a long 9-hour drive, we finally arrived at the hotel. The staff greeted us warmly, which was a relief after such an exhausting journey. To our surprise, the room was very clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. It was also well-equipped with furniture and a refrigerator, making our stay very comfortable. Due to a weather forecast predicting a snowstorm, we had to return home earlier than plan

We can in very late at night. We were welcomed by Bryce. He was kind, professional and very welcoming. We were exhausted and he got us into our room quickly, all while making us smile. The room was very clean and spacious…we were comfortable immediately. Thanks again to Bryce for welcoming us to Lafayette. One of the best hotel front desk agents we’ve ever dealt with!!

This hotel is newly renovated and is very nice. It is still an older building but very clean and well maintained with new modern finishes. |The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating! Especially enjoyed the fresh cookies and lemonade!

UPDATED…Very friendly staff! Bryce is very friendly and helpful as well as Tanessa, Kelly, Danielle., Tonya, Vanessa and Dom! This is the best staffed hotel I’ve ever been to. Everyone goes above and beyond to help make us as comfortable as possible! Highly recommended! I want to add that I’ve stayed here three times in the last 14 years and I’ve never seen one bug. The reviews that are saying that don’t seem real. UPDATE: My debit card was processed for $342.15 when I was paying cash. The card reader was down so I was having to pay for my room with cash. That day I paid $180 in cash and then debited for the $342.15 (I had a credit of $174 at that moment).
