Red Roof Inn Edison

It's a pleasure to stay at this hotel; it has changed a lot since the last time I was here. The staff are wonderful; it's a peaceful and tranquil hotel. There's a young woman who works there, I think her name is Gaby, and she's very attentive and hardworking. She's always in a good mood and makes every guest smile. I really appreciate having employees like her.

Got in late and the hotel that in went to was fully booked. I called around and most were taken. Then I finally found here. And at first they didn't have a room that was available that was smoking available. But they found a near by location that did. And booked it for apon arrival it was a Smith check in and room wasn't bad

Booked my hotel well in advance of stay. Note for travelers- there is no elevator at this location. It is also used for semi-permanent residents, which does not make one feel the safest. Got to hotel and was advised that I had a second floor room. Lugged 4 bags up the steps only to find out when I opened the door that I had been given a smoking room. I seriously didn't even know that was a thing anymore. It absolutely reeked and started to set off my asthma. Went back to the desk and was told there were no other rooms available. Not going to lie- I went full on Karen and asked for the manager and told them I would hold them personally responsible if I ended up in the hospital. Because there was an event in the area and I had a dog, the ability to find an alternate hotel was impossible.

There is no way you charge $199-499 for 1-2 adults to stay here. The Red Roof Inn is infested with roaches from the ceiling, bed, all the way into the refrigerator.. the biweekly pest control does nothing. 🥲🫠 Shenna, you are not telling the truth. Look at the bugs crawling in/on your beds, refrigerators & shower. I killed the one in the tub for you, being that “pest control” is systemically incompetent. Being here is disgusting, inhumane and dehumanizing. I was moved to a different room that housekeeping swore they had no complaints about, within 5 minutes - there were roaches.
