Red Roof Inn Chicago - Lansing

This location is very terrible.I paid 74 dollars for a dirty room dirty towels not enough towels no ice bucket no table nor chair. Roaches everywhere. I couldn’t get a refund.I ended up packing up and just leaving. I do not think management gives a crap about those rooms being a hot nasty mess. They should be ashamed. They need to be closed down and board of health needs to be contacted. I passed all this information along to my father with pictures for proof and he is about to enjoy getting this place closed. Do not spend your money here.

We checked in and immediately checked back out. Walked in to a smoked out room, hair all in the bed, stained sheets, warped walls, paper towels stuff beside of a leaky pipe, hair on the counter, mold on the toilet, and boogers on the curtains. I brought all of this up to the gentleman at the front desk and he did nothing to try and find a resolution or fix the problem. Didn’t offer a refund of any sort. All he said was “I will look at it.” What are you going to look at? How dirty the room is? Be better, provide some sort of solution. Operate a cleaner, safer, and overall better location!

This used to be a decent place to get a room but it completely gone down hill. This place is a dump now. Baseboard heat, old busted up AC units , old dingy dry towels that look like they should be used at a carwash to wipe down cars. This place has fallen apart and is in need of some serious upgrades. This location should be audited by cooperate because I'm sure they are operating this location well below cooperate standards.

It was below freezing out and the heat did not work. Twice , we we requested assistance or a change of rooms. Someone came to the room and poked at the broken unit. The third time we called because the heat still was not working. They wanted to come out and look at it again. I had to yell and complain to get them to rake further action and put us in a new room.This one only had 1 bath towel despite having two beds. As did the last room which had been rented for 2 people for 2 days. The shower floor was filthy, I saw a couple of cocker roaches , and the bedspread was stained and very thin.

These rooms are below standards stains on the beds, cigarette holes on the sheets|How do these people? Stay in business like this they would not live in the same rooms that they rent out to customers.|Ps|What really gets me? How can I say? They cleaned the room.|Clearly, the smoke detector was disabled
