Motel 6 Lansing, IL - Chicago South

Health Hazard! Roaches, Filth and Terrible Service! I have never stayed in a place this filthy in my entire life. This Motel 6 is absolutely disgusting, poorly maintained, and infested with roaches. I was uncomfortable from the moment I walked in until the moment I fled the property. The maintenance is nonexistent. The walls were covered in grime, the "clean" pillowcases were stained, and the sheets and blankets were riddled with burn holes. The mattress cover was so far gone it should have been thrown away years ago. I watched housekeeping "clean" the floors by pouring solution down and just mopping it up—the bare minimum effort for a room that clearly needed a deep scrub. This motel was horrible, with a pet smell, and the hallways smelled like weed |Dogs barking disturbed my sleep. The room we stayed in was dark, and the couch and bed mattress were hard, and there were hardly any lights to see. The TV was so far from the bed, OMG, never again will I stay at this Motel

Positive: Simple and basic. Negative: Bed.....mattress extremely lumpy .....not pleasant even for someone on the run who just needs a good night sleep and gets on the road.

You get what you pay for; I guess. Staff was friendly put the atmosphere otherwise was creepy. Got to witness a fist fight on my last night there. We'll not so much a fist fight but somebody getting stole on... can't knock the place for the behavior of the guests. Yes other reviews are correct about the cleanliness and condition of the rooms but I had no problem with staff... Be on your P's and Q's when staying here or any place like it

Customer service was very awful. I arrived at this disorganized location to check into my room just to find out that my room was canceled when I have made a reservation 2 weeks prior. the young lady didn't understand not barley speak English. I had to go online again to make another reservation while I was there to purchase another room. Which was a walk in suit that was half cleaned. Dirty used rags was still present in the bathroom, used underwear under the sofa and the floor were not swept properly
