Red Roof Inn Ardmore

Reserved a king bed. 3pm-checked in and got 2 double full beds. Got to room- the TV and light were on. I-felt like I was in someone's room. The in room phone didn't work. Walked back to front desk to advise the pillow cases were missing from all 4 pillows and he advised would be done from laundry in an hour. All the pillows were very well used and stained-they need to be replaced. 3 hours later-a sweet young lady brought tbe pillow cases but she only had 3-not 4. I put the pillow cases on. It's now 11 pm- I slept with the TV on to drown out the noise from the 2 loud barking dogs on one side and a couple talking loudly on the other side. I swatted at a spider on the celing above my bed with a towel. Didn't take a shower because live bugs in the drain. I didn't really sleep as felt unsafe

We had driven 10 hours and were very tired so I didn't check out the room before I paid. It was extremely dirty. I slept with my clothes and shoes on because I was afraid of critters. There was a roach in the bathtub. The lamp was broken and shade just disintegrated. The bathroom door was so dirty and the tub had burn marks. There were people above on the balcony drinking and smoking and very loud. The smell was so strong of cleaning products from the room it took your breath away. Sometime around midnight a lady used a card and opened our door. She had a dog. Fortunately, I had the chain on or she would have come all the way in. I was too tired to hotel shop that night but before the sun was up we got out of there quickly.

Positive: Nothing, room was filthy, no place to sit, no working ice machine, totally misrepresented Negative: This was the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in, checking in the cameras at the desk showed a beautiful blue pool, walking by it it was covered and half empty, they had only a waffle maker for breakfast, all the other “ included “ choices didn’t work at all!

Booked a room online thru hotels.com. Reservation apparently was sent just after midnight. Front desk didnt see the reservation and sold all the rooms before I arrived. As a result I sat in my car in the 30 degree weather overnight, was awake another 4 hours, and then drove another 9 hours the next day without any sleep. Corporate # and Customer Complaint # just took a report and verified the issue with the location. When I asked for compensation of some kind, I was told "we didnt charge you", and "we filed a report". Which amounts to nothing. My day was completely ruined, could not enjoy visiting anywhere on my trip, and was only concerned with getting to my next destination without falling asleep on the road. The rooms are completely nasty with an awful smell. The shower was disgusting 🤮. Light bulbs were missing. There's no cable TV. The cable cord was literally hanging off the cheap cabinet. The floors were dirty and hadn't been swept or obviously mopped. I guess for the price of approximately $46, you get what you pay for but nearby hotels were booked. If I could've given -200 stars I would've. Don't waste your time even considering this dump. Only good thing is it's located right off I-35.
