Lake Murray Lodge

Spent a couple of nights, was absolutely wonderful. Check in was friendly and efficient (even let me check in early) Stayed in one of the separate buildings next to the Lodge...room was clean and quiet and well appointed and an amazing balcony overlooking the lake. Restaurant isn't open but rooms have Microwave and Refrigerator which was nice. Would highly recommend.

Why is this listed as Lake Murray Chapel? Should be Lake Murray Lodge. Anyway, I wish I could have spent more time at this lovely lake lodge. It is a great deal for the money during the week and other than holidays. Cleanest water around. Beautiful peace and quiet during the week. (Not so much when the loud ski boats are in action) I prefer the buildings apart from the main lodge as you get your own private balcony right next to the water. Listen to the waves lapping on the shore. If you go, with children, please consider staying in the main lodge and leave the outer buildings for those who want peace and quiet. Clayton at the front desk was very helpful with booking. Thank you.

Staff very attentive. Lodge is very comfortable with rooms right on edge of water. Rooms comfortable with microwave and refrigerator, coffer maker.

Big minus for the star not being able to maintain a restaurant contractor. They should go back to having each lodge manage their own restaurant.

Stayed at the cabins and enjoyed every minute. All was in order and to be expected for such an affordable price point. Cabins were clean, A/C worked well, and the grounds were nicely kept. I anticipated no cookware (as I genuinely prefer my own anyway) but certainly an upgrade from tent camping . Plus , the bed was comfortable! The pool and splash pad was so pleasant and the playgrounds are nice as well. This was a lovely option for a multi-family weekend getaway that didn’t break the bank.
