Red Moose Lodge

We loved our stay at the Red Moose Lodge. It was our second visit, here. Easy check in. The room was really clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was probably one of the cleanest! The room was nicely appointed. For breakfast we had oatmeal and coffee cake, and there were options for toast or English muffins or a selection of cereals. I think this is a Really nice small and comfortable lodge., would definitely recommend it.

We stayed in room #2 & I highly recommend trying to get that room. It is very large,has brand new carpet & a new couch. If you like moose & the outdoors, this is the room for you ! The owner was very friendly & showed us how to use the Roku TV ,which we had never heard of. The shower was hot,towels were plush & the continental breakfast was nice. The property is very well kept. We had a good nights' sleep even though I was concerned about road noise from M-37. It was quiet. Dealing with a family member that lives up that way that is in very poor health, this motel stay was a very positive experience for us. Pretty sure we will be staying there again. There are a bunch of similar sized "Mom & Pop" motels in the area. I can honestly say that this one is a winner !

By far one of the best places in the area to stay at for the price as well as the service. Rooms were absolutely immaculate, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing, as far as i'm concerned. I went through and read a lot of the. Reviews on here and I i only saw mostly good reviews. The few negative reviews that I saw on here, I have to believe were spiteful and totally garbage. I had only a completely Positive experience here and would recommend Red Moose Lodge highly to anyone. Whether it's springtime, summer or salmon fishing in fall. This is a great place to go. Also the fishing guide service is highly recommend and is amazing at helping with mobility challenged clients. Top notch 👌

This has got to be the coolest place we've stayed at here in MI! The rooms were extremely clean and had a very Up North feel to it. Walk up access to the river and being just minutes from downtown, it definitely feels like your way out in the woods. We can't wait to go back durring summer.

We stayed in one of the queen bed rooms. The room was very clean and decorated nicely to match the Red Moose Lodge name! They have a very nice outside sitting area down by the river and a nice sitting area around a fire pit. They provide continental breakfast which had many options, more than just your roll and coffee. This is a few miles outside of the town and close to many restaurants and bars. This lodge is very comfortable and we will surely stay here again when we come up here for off-roading!
