Outdoor Inn

What an unexpected surprise! The overall experience was excellent! The rooms are very clean, well furnished with apparent attention to detail. They make sure that you are comfortable. As with many small businesses that are run by the owners, a warm welcome was followed with personal attention for anything we could want or need. Other guests told stories of yearly visits there and how much they enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning and are planning a late 2026 visit brining our grown children and their families.

I had to do a job in Baldwin, and really haven't been in the area in about 25 years so I don't know this area very well. I needed a place for one night, and the Outdoor Inn looked good from the outside, so decided to give it a shot. I was glad I did. The room was a little small, but the decor was nice and very comfortable. The TV channel selection was solid. The bed was pretty comfortable and provided a good night of sleep. The owners recommended a place for dinner, and they steered me to a great place. I'm not sure the next time I'll be in the area, but if I do come back to Baldwin, I'll stay here again.

I love staying at this motel, it's my go-to spot when I am up North in Michigan fishing. I have stayed at this place a few handfuls of times now, and the owners are awesome! In fact the last time I was up, I had taken a pretty hard fall when I was out fishing, and cracked a few ribs and they were not only concerned, but helped me out as much as they could (including a lot of humor and laughs that went a long way toward my mental well-being). The only time I have stayed somewhere else is when they have been fully booked, and although I have been satisfied, it's not the same as staying at the Outdoor Inn. The rooms are always clean, the service is above-and-beyond, and I look forward to the next time I am up and the laughs that I'll have with the owners. Highly recommend!!

We had a great stay at the Outdoor Inn! The location was super convenient, and the owner was very kind and welcoming. The rooms were clean and looked great. We were even able to park our truck with a trailer pulling a side-by-side in the lot with no issues at all. Everything went smoothly, and we’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Baldwin, Michigan!

Great value, location, and super clean rooms. Buddy I came up for a couple days of riding the ORV trails and the owners were very accommodating. Plenty of parking and room for trailers. Gas grill and fire pit with endless wood was a bonus!
