Red Lion Inn & Suites La Pine

I had a fantastic experience at the Red Lion Inn & Suites La Pine! The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable — everything felt clean and well-maintained. The bed was cozy, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and I appreciated the little touches like the in-room coffee and toiletries. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and made check-in a breeze. I also really appreciated how quiet the property was at night — perfect for a restful sleep after a long day on the road. Location-wise, it’s ideal — close to restaurants, gas stations, and easy highway access, but still felt private and peaceful. Parking was easy, and I felt safe and secure during my entire stay. If you're passing through Central Oregon or planning outdoor adventures nearby, I highly recommend staying here. Great va

Stinky old smoking rooms have not been remodeled, but they say they are nonsmoking. Nasty old crispy carpets and didn't want to remove my shoes. The lady up front is a very rude foreigner. She assumed I was going to smoke and threatened me with a $500 charge three times. I don't smoke, and I will never stay here again. Over $200.00 a night. I wish I had stayed somewhere else. A waste of money and rude staff. I will stick with the Lion Inn in Bend. 100% better experience.

Positive: "" Negative: There are a lot I didn't like about the hotel. To name a few, the hotel stuff we're not friendly. When I arrived at the hotel around 9pm, they told me thehy wanted to cancel my booking because the room was not ready! And I have to wait for 3 hour if stay.

My sister and I only stayed one night but it was almost 200$ - very overpriced in my opinion for the room and location. There was a surprise deposit when we checked in even though we booked through their website. In the morning, they stated that we “still owed $30” but did not specify why… I booked through the sonestra website but staff stated that they didn’t get the reservation and that the company takes money from them… I’m not really sure how that’s my fault.

This place was horrible. Luckily I didn’t stay because the experience with the front desk lady was enough to change my mind. Every single other 1 star review is accurate and the owner replies I bet are a complete lie. Me and my buddy are young guys and our car broke down. She tried billing us an extra $200 after we made the reservation with priceline for $200. Claiming we bought a promotion price that is no longer happening. Never stay here ever. Reading all these other reviews now makes sense. Message to the owner: Sell the place while you can still get some profit you shouldn’t be in this business.
