Every site was set up nicely for RVs, with picnic table & fire ring on the passenger side. Ground is very soft, so be prepared to build a good foundation for the jacks. Beautiful creek ran along the bottom of the hill below campground. Was a perfect little swimming hole with grassy banks and nice shade. Primitive outhouses and water spigot available. No firewood.

Overall the place is ok, It has the standard picnic table and fire triangle (not a ring). It was busy so a lot of spots were reserved yet no one was using them. It was a Friday so I suspect locals pay an extra day to keep the spots from being snatched by tourists. It is close to Crater Lake National Park and other attractions. Some of the bathrooms were out of service so it raised the use on the serviceable ones. There is a trail to a prairie with its own creek. It was a good back up for non potable water since the campground shut their water due to quality issues. We planed on using McKay camp nearby, wich looked better but all the spots were taken. The biggest negative and why the four stars was the dust. This may be due to lack of rain, but it was the kind that gets into everything. We

Nice quiet campground. Has 4 first come first serve sites

We wound up not staying here due to our site being covered in active anthills. But even getting here wasn't smooth. The road, although mostly paved, was very much in need of maintenance. But any vehicle should still be able to make it. The bathrooms are mere outhouses and there isn't much privacy between sites. There is a small stream nearby, but it attracts a plethora of mosquitoes. I highly recommend a trailer. The fee was $14 per night.

We really liked it there. The stream is perfect for young kiddos. It was great. 😊
