Courtyard by Marriott Harrisburg Hershey

We visited courtyard by Marriott Harrisburg Hershey for my daughters cheer competition over the weekend !!! We stayed for two night and had an excellent time during our visit ! We felt like home! The rooms were clean, the staff were amazing and all us parents where able to hang out and enjoy our time together, we may have been a little loud at times but thank you for the staff for allowing us to let loose and let us enjoy ourselves!!! I want to give thanks to a couple of the staff members during our stay! I don’t have names but the lady in black hair with pink flower in her hair at the front desk this morning was amazing! We booked this hotel for the weekend of the Hershey RV show. After reading the reviews, I was surprised at the wide variety of experiences.||Our experience was quite good. We knew the hotel didn't have a complimentary breakfast, which was fine. We brought some muffins and put drinks in the mini-fridge. ||The location was excellent for attending the RV show at the Giant Center, near the Hershey property. It was about 20 minutes and a very easy route.||The king room was very clean and comfortable -- you could tell it had been renovated recently. While we had plenty of towels for the two of us for the weekend, a larger group might want to request extra on arrival, as shorter stays no longer have housekeeping service. Great stay on free night certificate. Close to Hersheypark (15-20 minute drive) . Lobby was clean and updated. Room was nice but pull out couch sofa was built for one adult or two small children. Staff were responsive and accommodating with our requests through the app. We able to checkin and have items in our room waiting for us. Bar staff were very friendly, polite and accommodating as well. Good stay would be great if the water had been warmer but was tolerable.

We stayed 3 nights as we were in town for a hockey tourney. The room was good enough but not sure if the bed was actually a king size as it was noticeably smaller than our King at home. We paid for a king-size BTW. We had a drink at the bar Sat night as a night cap and bartender with Tatts also wasn't exactly happy go lucky with us. IDK> Upon leaving I forgot my phone in the room and the desk woman gave my wife character when she asked for a key to get back in to retrieve phone for me while waited outside. It seemed to be an issue for her to make a key for entry.?? also, same woman gave wife an issue when she went down for coffee at 1015 am while the lobby cafe was still OPEN. She tried telling my wife it was closed when it clearly was within the hours of being open. Woman had a plate

We had a good post-farm show stay at the Courtyard Harrisburg Hershey. The bistro food was good and the guy who served us food was pretty professional. Pool was closed for cleaning, unfortunately. Our room, 325, was fine, but the phone was broken (no ring when you pick the phone up) even when plugged in. There was also a brown stain on the desk chair. There was also an outlet attached directly to one of the bedside lights that didn't seem to work even when I pushed the switch next to it. That aside, though, the room was very roomy. So this was a good hotel but our room did have a little bit of wear and tear.
