Faby could not be a better host personable, kind and welcoming for a good continental breakfast with waffle, sausage, eggs, potatoes, cereal, and more. The room was good for me at $70 in early March for two queen beds. The price was right and the room was clean. The front desk was able to figure out how to print the receipt for me. The room was clean, and I didn’t notice any major issues aside from a slight unusual smell near the door. The interior design has a cozy, home-style feel, a bit outdated, but still pleasant. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The pool there was a really cool feature. Having access to an on-site laundry machine was a big plus. Overall, I had a good experience. There isn’t much to do or see around the hotel, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. I believe there’s a dinosaur museum nearby. They have gym but some of the machines weren't working when I went. Still appreciate the fact it was available

Positive: The amenities were great. (Breakfast, sports courts, pool, etc.) Negative: The morning we got in the hot tub the water temperature was way too hot. It must have been around 108+ degrees. Could only stay in it for about 5 min. Max. I have a hot tub at home and I know what 104 degrees feels like. So I know it was way over 104.

I was really disappointed with this stay. My sister recommended this hotel, but I wish she had been clearer that it’s only nice if you stay in the main building. We were placed in one of the “other buildings,” and the difference was shocking—it felt more like a motel than a hotel. The shower rod was rusted, and there was no hot water at all. When we called for help, we were told the maintenance guy was off work, so there was nothing they could do. They offered to move us to another room at 11 p.m., but my mother is handicapped (which I noted when booking), and she wasn’t feeling well enough to move that late. The hotel had great amenities: pickleball courts, basketball court, lil’ mini golf court, pool and jacuzzi. It looked like you could book conference rooms for family dinners or reunions. There were also many tables near the pool, (both inside pool and outside pool) that were available to eat at, without reservations. It made such a nice venue after a big hiking day, with the holiday music playing, (this was end of November), and the ambiance of the tropical plants around the tables with the relaxing music.||If the weather were rainy, their vast conference center provides a nice place to walk a bit indoors, if it is too chilly or rainy to walk outdoors.
