Ranch 3232

My family stayed in the largest cabin for four nights. The cabin was comfortable, well equipped and located near many places we wanted to explore in the Hill Country. The front porch was great for relaxing on. We loved the goats that hung out. Our two and a half year old granddaughter was very excited about them! I accidentally left a personal item in the cabin that Amy, the owner, found. She was great about returning it to me!

Camped with my two kids and 3 other families this past spring and this campground exceeded all of our expectations. It was conveniently located near Pedernales SP and Hamilton pool. The campsites were nicely shaded and well kept. The bath house was clean with plenty of private showers/bathrooms. The communal shelter was a nice surprise that offered easy hand/dish washing plus some convenient counter space to prep meals away from the elements. I would absolutely recommend staying here, especially if you need some creature comforts for the family. I hope to return again next time we're in that part of Hill Country!

After having to cancel a different trip elsewhere due to the covid junk, this was a last minute booking that ending up being better than expected. We rented the largest cabin. It had a great private view and area. The fire pit was a lot of fun. Plenty of outdoor seating which included a large picnic table, swing for 2 and benches around the campfire. We loved sitting outside on the covered patio enjoying a few drinks and listening to nature. The rooms inside were the perfect size, decent size bedroom with a queen size bed and a loft with 2 twins. Cabin was equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher and kitchen supplies if needed to use at all. The place is pet friendly, has hiking trails and is very close to multiple great local attractions. Our cabin had games inside for kids

Such a great "in-between" place. 30 minutes from Austin, 30 minutes from Fredericksburg, 10 minutes from Johnson City, and right outside the entrance to Pedernales State Park. The facilities are very very clean and the hosts are amazing. They even have a washer and drier in case you don't want to take home dirty clothes! We stayed in the "Bird House" aka the Gypsy Wagon. It was just what we needed. Enough space to change and sleep. We spent most of our time on the rockers on the porch. There was an ac unit that more than cooled off the trailer. They are above and beyond for sure! The community areas are nice to get to know your neighbors and everyone was very respectful. We had no issue with it but the hill entrance is very steep. I could see someone with a large trailer struggling. W

Great location only 2 miles from Perdenales Falls. Was there first weekend in January and campsite was very quiet, only maybe 4 other people there. The facilities were great - kitchen had plenty of cooking gear and a fridge for storage (though we didn't use any of it other than toaster). Also a hot plate, toaster, microwave. Bathrooms were conveniently located and clean. Showers were hot even in outdoor temps that were ~55F. No complaints about anything.
