Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Atlanta Airport

I checked in on February 13th at approximately 11:50 PM and was initially assigned Room 607. Upon entering the room, I attempted to use the restroom and immediately discovered that the toilet was not functioning. I returned to the front desk to report the issue and was reassigned to Room 626. Unfortunately, this room presented even more serious problems. The lights did not work properly, the smoke detector beeped continuously throughout the night, the toilet did not flush and ran nonstop, and the shower water pressure was barely a trickle. Due to exhaustion from my flight, I attempted to rest and planned to address these concerns the following morning. On February 14th, I was moved again—this time to Room 430. I don’t even know where to start with Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Atlanta Airport because the entire experience felt like a bad joke. The WiFi barely worked — and that’s being generous — which is ridiculous for a hotel near an airport where people are clearly traveling for business. And the they didn’t even have quality tv. The tvs had a lot of static and the channels that did work kept freezing. The furniture looks like it hasn’t been updated since it opened in 1980, everything feels worn down, and despite their dramatic warning about a $250 smoking fee, the entire building smells like an old ashtray that’s been sitting in a damp basement for years. You can’t threaten guests over smoke when the hallways already reek like stale cigarettes. Then there’s only one working elevator for a property

Positive: Proximity to the airport. Negative: Dilapidated everything. Looked post-apocalyptic. Only one elevator worked. Holes in he carpet and stains on the bedding. The pool area was drained and filthy. The dining area was closed and had a huge fan drying it out. Sketchy neighborhood.

This hotel is dirty. The rooms smell very bad. The curtains were dirty. The photos on the website have nothing to do with reality. I will never return to that hotel. Also, my reservation includes breakfast, which is not true. When I asked the receptionist, she told me no. This hotel is a one-star hotel, not a three-star hotel as advertised on the website.

This place is completely unacceptable. The front desk staff is consistently rude, the parking lots are filthy, and the entire operation feels far below any reasonable standard. Waiting 45 minutes for pickup when the location is barely 10 minutes from the airport is absurd. The lack of courtesy, efficiency, and basic professionalism is shocking. I expect far better, and I won’t be returning after this experience.
