Ramada by Wyndham San Diego Airport

You get what you pay for... there's a reason it's one of the cheapest in the area. The staff were helpful and kind. The breakfast sure left a lot be desired though. The coffee was barely drinkable. The room was clean, and everything worked, if you just need a place to sleep, it should meet your needs.

Was disappointed with the condition of the property overall. Pool is unheated, outside storage unit with old carpets thrown around. No access to room walking through the property. Had to walk outside to access the room. Once inside the corridor was outdated. Broken tiles. Once inside the room the room had a urine smell inside it. The bathroom was in extreme need of a remodel. Old dirty paint. Safe deposit box was inside the bathroom and rusted. Outside of Rosecrans homeless people passed out on both sides of the street. Would not stay there again.

Everything was much better than I expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Of course I locked myself out of my room and the lady at the front desk was awesome. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. The location is right across the street from the Harbor very close to stores and restaurants. I’ll definitely stay here again!

I am writing this review to share a serious safety concern and to help other women make an informed decision before staying here. In February 2026, my friend and I (two women traveling alone) stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham San Diego Airport. During our stay, we experienced an incident that caused us to feel unsafe and ultimately check out early. At approximately 2:00 AM, our hotel room phone rang. A man said “hello” and immediately hung up. Shortly afterward, we heard male voices very close to our room for an extended period of time. The voices sounded as though they were coming from the neighbouring room which we believed was unoccupied. We contacted the front desk immediately. The night staff told us the call came from another guest room and was likely a mistake. We thought this was

Location is fine. Facilities are good for those looking for a short stay and on a budget. But unfortunately my room 214 was under par and falls short of expectation. The shower stopped working the morning of my check out and the the toilet brings back up what was flushed on several occasions.
