Ramada by Wyndham Cornwall

Location was fine, central but you need a car because you cannot get to the food options easily on foot (believe me I tried). The staff were very good, went above and beyond and were always pleasant and accommodating. Small town charm. The rooms were clean, hardwood flooring not carpet, seems to be recently updated bathrooms. Towels refreshed daily, which I want when I stay in a hotel. Comfortable beds - very good beds. Breakfast is mediocre at best, eggs a bit overcooked rubbery, greasy, sugary, out-of the freezer options - some healthier options such as plain yogurt, plain oatmeal, or real baked bread (not wonderbread kind of bread) would be preferred. Horrible stay! However, the one saving grace was the exceptional service provided by the front desk clerk, Shannon. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, efficient, and helpful. She handled my check-in smoothly, and answered all my questions with a smile. I highly appreciate and applaud the work ethic and kindness she presented as the face of the hotel during my stay.

Excellent stay for a family of 4 here! The service and people who work here are amazing (Special shout out to the lady who manages the kitchen and breakfast buffet, and the ladies at the front desk). They are super attentive and welcoming. For a transit or for whenever you are in Cornwall, highly recommend Ramada! We got the rooms with 2 double bed, on the ground floor. The bathroom was stocked with essentials, the room was clean, and had everything we needed (microwave, fridge, iron, coffee, green tea). Thanks Ramada! Great to be a Wyndham member :)

I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel has received so many positive reviews, as our experience was extremely disappointing. We checked in late on Wednesday evening, and when we arrived there was no one at the front desk. While there was a sign indicating someone would return in five minutes, the staff member who eventually appeared was not particularly warm or welcoming. Given the late hour, we didn’t dwell on it.||Our room was located a very long distance from reception, and we were surprised by how large and spread out the property is. Upon entering the room, it was uncomfortably cold, set to 66 degrees. The furnishings were very dated and showed significant wear—scratches, dents, and visible water damage.
