Monte Carlo Motel

This was the worst motel experience ever! Dirty room, broken tv, no bathroom mirror, no garbage cans, pillows that looked 20 yrs old . Fighting and yelling in the room next to us , and pot smoke to enjoy also, terrible service. . Warning don’t go better off sleeping in your car , we left at 1:30 am said I wanted a refund and of course nothing was done. I guess I had to pick one star to post 🙄 it don’t deserve that.

WORST experience ever! My brother sustained an injury , hematoma, edema and open area to his left lower left due to the metal bedframe sticking out at the end of the bed. Spoke to owner Loara who blamed my brother foe this and would assume no responsibility. NO customer skills whatsoever. No fresh towels, the tub was rusty, unable to take a bath or shower. No ice machine. Room rates were expensive. PLEASE DO NOT book a room in this filthy motel Trust me

This hotel was dirty cold . Was not friendly what's so ever. The owner was very rude and ignorant when we spoke . I would not go back to this "hotel".

I actually reactivated my Google account just so I could leave this review because I could not, in good conscience, ignore the Monte Carlo Motel experience. This is not just the worst motel in Cornwall. Not just in Ontario. I would argue, with confidence, that it may very well be the worst motel in all of North America, possibly a contender for Earth. From the moment you pull up, it’s obvious this place has been rotting in some kind of anti-care time capsule. The “front office” door looks like the set of an abandoned horror film, with cobwebs, spiderwebs, and bugs all competing for prime real estate. Monty Carlo was always the place to go. However, during my last stay, I found the rooms to be substandard. My wife thought that someone had spit in the bathtub it looked like some spat chessies. As it turned out it was rust. The bed frames stick out and we kept banging our chin or stubbing or toe. Not jut me but my wife and son as well. We notice that someone had place plywood between the headboard and wall that made the bed frames stick out about an extra feet. Anyway we addressed the safety issue and the manager called us clumsy. Even their staff admitted that it was an issue with them as well. Over priced for what you get.
