Motel 6 Cornwall, ON

I was a bit nervous staying at a motel alone, but this location feels very safe. The parking lot is bright and the area is quiet. The room was spotless and the heater worked great. Only 4 stars because I wish there was a coffee maker in the room, but they have coffee in the lobby so it’s fine. Overall great experience.

I travel to Cornwall frequently for medical appointments, and I always choose this Motel 6. Being a bit older, traveling can be stressful, but Manager Shah goes above and beyond every single time. He knows I’m coming and actually makes sure the TV is already turned on in my room before I even check in so I can sit down and relax immediately. It’s those small, thoughtful gestures that make this feel like more than just a motel. It’s clean, quiet, and the service is truly personal. Highly recommend.

Weekly stayer here. I commute from TO for work and I've stayed at almost every motel in Cornwall. Honestly, some of the other 'standard' motels in town are pretty rough, even though they charge the same rate. This Motel 6 is way ahead of them in terms of cleanliness and modern rooms. The staff actually recognizes you and makes the weekly check-in easy. Definitely recommend for anyone traveling for business.

I'm going to get the bad out and end with the good. You lost a star for the smell in the HALLWAYS (not my room...that would have lost you all stars lol) I get it, weed is legal...but not everyone likes it. I'd address this with your guests...I would be willing to bet it's coming from a more permanent guest than a one or two night guest. Parking lot was not plowed and that kind of sucked walking through to the door. But it didn't reflect in the stars. Just an observation. Walking through the halls had me thinking this was going to be exactly what I imagined for a motel 6 BUT I was pleasantly surprised once I got to my room. I really like the updated look of this Motel 6. No carpet is a huge plus for me—it just feels much cleaner. The bed was firm and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was actually fast enough for me to stream a movie. For the price, you really can’t ask for more.
