Ramada by Wyndham Columbia

We paid for an upgraded king room and we were sent to a dirty double queen room with a broken toilet running water continuously, broken flickering lights, sinks with no drain stopper and stained sheets. The front desk was extremely rude when my husband went back to request a different room- the room we paid for as an upgrade. The manager didn't bother to check my husband in at all l, let alone correctly. He then Unapologetically acted like he was going out of his way to get us the original room we had paid for. We paid $200 for this room for ONE night expecting much better quality and the reviews are entirely misleading. The whole place reeks of cigarettes, weed, B.O. and urine. On our 3-week trip this was the nicest and best value motel we stayed in. Beds were very comfortable. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was above average. Pet fee $20, and plenty of grass around motel to walk our dog in.

When walking into the side door of the hotel off the parking lot it had a strong smell of urine. The room was disgusting. The toilet ran continually and did not shut off. The bottom of the sink was yellow. The room smelled awful! The towels were suppose to be white, but they were tattletail gray. The locking mechanism on the inside of the door was falling off, two screws were almost falling out and the other 2 were lose. When checking out, no one was around. I had to wait over 10 minutes after I had to ask another employee to find someone. There was no key drop box and I was afraid if I left my keys are on the counter I would get "screwed" and some how have to pay for another night at this hotel. This was honestly the worst hotel I have ever had to stay in.

The overnight manager at this hotel is extremely rude. I had called this hotel about three weeks prior to inquire on if they allowed cats in their rooms. I am moving across the country due to work, and I am moving with my cats. Three weeks ago they had told me they allowed cats. The day of my reservation while checking in online, they said that they do not allow cats. During my online check-in, they had canceled my reservation And left me without a hotel 12 hours prior to when I would be in the area. When I had called the hotel, the overnight manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. She hung up the phone on me when I told her to not call me “honey” After I was trying to explain to her that having a hotel reservation canceled during a cross-country move was stressful. I do not recommend

My stay at the hotel was a very disappointing experience. The room was extremely dirty — I was honestly afraid to touch anything. The floor was covered in stains and felt sticky, and the bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned for a long time. It was truly unpleasant. The shower curtain was also dirty and in unacceptable condition. Overall, the level of cleanliness in the hotel was very poor. Another major issue was the heating. It did not work properly — there was only some air blowing, but no real heat. Considering that it is February and very cold, this made the stay even more uncomfortable . Unfortunately, because of this experience, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.
