Ramada by Wyndham Bakersfield North

It was a good fit for the 5 of us. The microwave wasn't functionng correctley. Wobbled and couldn't warm the coffee. The bed was comfortable. Our first time staying there so I wasn't familiar with the area. Concerned about the homeless being out there by the cars. Had to park out on the side of the building. Desk clerk said she watches the cameras and the cars will be safe. Desk clerks were Great! Breakfast was scarce by the time we went down at 8:35am. Just had juice and coffee. I would return again.

We booked 1 room 2 queen room. The room did connect to the room next door. The door did not lock on our side it kept opening. When we called the front they advised they were booked. She offered to come up to our room to see if she could lock it. As we advised we did not feel safe. She was able to lock the door and advise she would tell management that the door needed repairs. She even took me to the other connecting room and pushed on the door to "try" and go into our room. Thankful the door did not open to our room which made us feel a little at ease but still nervous. Did not sleep very well that night.

I had a great experience at the Ramada as a stop on my road trip from SF to LA. The staff was on point and friendly when I arrived. The pre-check-in process was awesome because all I had to do was pick up my key and go to my room. Parking is free, and there was plenty of it. The room was amazing for the price - sofa, desk, and sleeping area with a great-sized TV. Another highlight of the stay was the free breakfast - it had a variety of foods and tasted great. Overall awesome value stay - highly recommend it for a road trip stopover.

I was a repeat customer here and for good reason! The location was convenient, the check-in was easy and the desk clerk pleasant. The room itself was immaculate, comfortable and quiet and sleep came quickly. Next morning, the breakfast room had a broad selection of items and was spotlessly clean. All in all, a five-star experience and highly recommended!

Really clean. The place is maintained on a really high level. My partner likes to take a towel and walk on it in the room, sliding it along the floor, to see how clean the floors are. There was zero residue on the towel.||Breakfast is only until 9 am, which bothers me because I work late (I am an entertainer) and don't want to get up before 9 am most mornings after a show.||Located behind the Sizzler, you might miss the entrance. Go through Sizzler’s parking lot.
