Bakersfield KOA Journey

Beautiful landscaping, clean campground, level sites. Dog park appears to have been a drainage ditch that they put a cover over. (See pic) Heated pool was too cold for me, but others were enjoying it. Hot tub was very hot, jets not working, and needed to be drained and power washed. I did not use the laundry or restrooms but peeked in and they looked nice. Nice check in and store. Very disappointed the restaurant had closed.

Stayed there 2 times in November. They have the best sites with a dog run in your site. Also dog park was clean and shady. The resteraunt was closing up so missed that. Hope it re opens. The place was totally packed on the last night, standing room only!!

Nice campground. On site restaurant was decent. Grounds are clean and well kept. It was a bit noisy with the cars and their loud mufflers, but it did quite down. All in out, not a bad experience.

Excellent customer service! We arrived extremely early in the morning (3:30am) and were happy to see there was a security gate. We had to call for access but surprisingly the GM was awake and very happy to help us. The facilities and amenities are very nice and clean. Will definitely stay here next time we’re passing through

The grounds are NOT up kept. The power box and water faucet has webs with black widow spiders. The area has weeds with stickers not allowing the kids to play outside. The host recorded on my profile that I was not respectful of their visitor parking policies without ever talking with me from a previous stay. Overall, I did not feel welcomed nor will I ever come back to this KOA site.
