Rainbow Lodge & RV Park

Adequate place to stay. Not the most comfortable, but not the worst. Room layout was also not the most convenient especially if you need a well lit vanity. Fenced dog area was full of poop. Grass area near entrance was also full of poop. Cleanliness all around could have been better, but also not the worst I’ve experienced. Keyless and contactless check in and out was convenient. Not sure there would have been someone around if we needed them though.

I did not realize that this motel was unattended and that I needed to go through hoops to get my room number and an access code. I would not have booked it if I had known that. The room was as basic as I've ever seen, The trim on the walls baseboard and ceiling was simple 1x2 pine boards caulked with white caulk and unpainted. The bathroom vanity was 2x6 frame again unpainted supporting a granite top, The front of the wall unit was damaged so there were no louvers and it was really noisy. I placed to chair in front of it to direct the air away from the bed. TV worked and WIFI worked fine. The load AC unit drained out and other noise if there was any.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Had a horrible experience at this establishment and they refuse to remedy the issue.|First, let’s talk about how we got here. I reserved this room through Expedia/Chase Travel and the pictures that Rainbow Lodge provided looked NOTHING like the room we received.|Next, let’s talk about noise. I can understand the road noise, as it is quite literally right off of the highway. What I can’t excuse, is my neighbors door having to be kicked/forced open. Or any movement from the upstairs patron creek and echo throughout our room.|Lastly, Comfort… or lack there of. The window ac unit for the room was broken. They had makeshift handles, but it still only worked on max heat. We had to continually get up throughout the night to turn it off and on to regulate the temper

Great 3 days stay chasing pow at Wolf Creek. Remote access via text went smoothly. Love the value. Clean spacious with kitchenette and utensils. Table for working or eating. Tv cable fine. Will Definitely come back. Perfect base camp for exploring area in all season. Lots of history. The South Fork of the might Rio Grande !!

I only need a place to sleep after skiing, I had been coming to this place for years now. Is nothing fancy but clean enough and comfortable enough. The stuff were great to bring me clean towels every day and pick up the trash. Thank you
