Ute Bluff Lodge, Cabins & RV Park

This was our first stay at Ute Bluff Lodge in South Fork. We decided on a last-minute ski trip because the skiing conditions in Summit were unfavorable. We stayed three nights in a super cute rustic-type cabin (not stand alone) that felt like a throwback cabin hidden in the mountains. It was a perfect location close to Wolf Creek Ski Resort. The staff - Rick, Eileen & Brenda could not have been more accommodating, helpful and attentive! Ute Bluff is in the middle of some staff turnover and training new staff however our stay was comfortable and relaxing - we’re hoping to return next ski season! Thank you!

Both me and my wife stayed at the Ute Bluff Lodge, Cabins & RV Park about 6 months ago but the place was fine. I made a reservation via phone with someone named Clint for 7 days. Clint told us on the did tell us on the phone that he was working on the water in the campground but we thought it was minor based upon our experience 6 months ago and we were just going to use the water in the Recreation & Kitchen area. When we arrived after 12 PM the office was closed, the campground, lodge, and entire area was in a shambles. Our campsite #2 had large feces around where the electric hookup with exposed wiring was located, someone had been burning trash in a central area in front of our campsite because it was littered with burnt cans and other debris and other half burnt waste, there was no tras

Pictures did not accurately reflect the reality. Cabins are actually 3-plexes, not individual cabins. No one was in the office the entire time of our stay. Bathroom door didn’t shut right and could hardly be opened if you got it closed. Half-eaten pizza was left in the fridge and wasn’t thrown away by the cleaning staff. Toilet wouldn’t flush right. One positive note-the bedroom was nice.

Me and my family are on a spontaneous trip and didn’t have anything planned. We needed somewhere to stay the night. I looked up spots on our way to our next destination and this place popped up. Great prices!! We got here late about 7pm went to the office to check in and they already had an envelope with my name on it the WiFi password and the key in it. It was perfect!!! Such a cute place, rooms are nice and clean. And the area we’re in is beautiful. If you’re ever in this area and need a place to stay fast, reasonably priced , and outdoorsy this is the place I’d recommend. Absolutely love it!!!

I swear I love this place they work with u always asking if u need room service I been here almost 2 months and they been working with me and my family no matter what rooms are nice and spacious I love it here I won't go any where else I promise you it amazing with the rooms j the stuff making sure u comfortable I love it here
