Was a great stay. Really appreciate the "status" they gave me, where I got access to an executive suite, where they have free hot breakfast buffet and hor'dueves at night. Staff was very attentive, and always offered to help with anything. Only issue i had was difficulty regulating the heat. The Radisson at Salt Lake is completely renovated. Bed very comfortable. My only wish is that they had a shuttle from airport to hotel. Hotel is right next to Convention Center, just walk outside and the entrance is right there. Uber cost $22.00 each way.
Loved my stay. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Bar was very good and the bartender was extremely nice and polite. We will stay there again however, housekeeper did not do a very good job vacuuming. It wasn't just a crumb here or there it was the whole room and bathroom that had visible crap on the floor. Of course, it makes you think the room wasn't well kept!
Positive: The staff was nice for the most part. The room was clean. Negative: The wifi did NOT work with any devices. They removed the pool and hot tub. There was no mention of a $50 damage fee til after I paid for the room. $50 for 2 meals is ridiculous.
This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here and for being cheaper than most hotels it’s a 5 star for me. Reading through reviews made me laugh at what people are complaining about. The first room I was put in had a broke a/c and was hot, I went downstairs and was promptly issued a new room. People complain there is no pool, doesn’t bother me I’m not swimming in a disgusting hotel pool that’s used by thousands anyways. Hotels been remodeled and was up to date and nice. Happy they have vinyl flooring, who wants old sticky smelly carpet in a hotel room? Modern paint looked great to me, and doubt it will be “outdated” in a few years lol… People complain about no breakfast, I’m good without the rubber sausage and runny eggs. If that’s your thing definitely go stay at your holiday inn lol. Didn’t tr
We have traveled to SLC once a year, for 30 years, to spend several days doing research at the Family History Library and after The Plaza closed this year (where we stayed during those years) we decided to try the Radission because it was the next hotel closest to the Library. I read mixed reviews before we reserved our 2 rooms but we decided to give it a go. We were in 2 rooms on the 14th floor, both obviously had be remodeled. Unfortunately the people who decorated the rooms loved the color gray and the rooms seem cold and sterile. Gray is popular now but will become dated when color trends change. More traditional colors would have been a better choice. The easy chair in the room is very shallow and it is not comfortable. The small refrigerator is basically on the floor and very difficu
