Raceway Inn, Martinsville, VA

Maybe the worse I've ever stayed at. Excellent location for Martinsville Race. 5 miles to track straight shot. Checked in. Got to room. Later that night I turned heat unit on. It ran for 30 minutes with no heat. We found a space heater in corner. It worked OK so we got past that. 2nd night when back from race only 1 towel was left. No one at desk to get another one. 4am it sounded like they were dragging furniture around upstairs. Called number they had at front desk and the foreign sounded guy told me to turn the radio up and laughed. I told him a few choice words and told him I was going to stop payment for 1 night if they didn't stop. He said he'd be right there and the noise stopped. Mind you this is 4am. Found out they were remodeling a room at 4am. Room was kind of clean, sheets wer

the guy at the front was very nice. that’s about where the quality of this place stops. i’ve seen crack houses with better ambience than this place. booked this on a whim for race weekend. legit just left the key in the room and drove to roanoke for a better place. it smells like a mixture of weed, bleach, and a tide pod, it’s insanely dirty, there was hair on the sheets??? like, i get it was cheap, but this place doesn’t even look like it should be open.

Worst place I have ever stayed. Room was dirty. They didn't offer towles or toilet paper. The washer and dryer was broke. The drink machine was broke. They were rude! They never once cleaned the room and we was there for two weeks

Our first room non smoking smelled like weed. The lights did not work. The second room was nasty food on the floor and hairs in the bathroom. Noise was awful people have no respect anymore. Will not stay again. Was too late n the night to find somewhere else to go or we would have left

BEDBUGS! BLOOD! FILTH! Do NOT fall for its convenience and nice guy desk manager. SAVE YOURSELVES the grief & hard work it will take to come back from an experience here!! My comment did not post so I am posting again!! I will fight to save others for falling for this trap like I did! The desk boy is NOT ALLOWED to "bother" his manager. When given his manager's number. It gives a recording in possibly Spanish or a language family of. However, it hangs up and you are unable to leave a message. I am awaiting a call from the environmental agency of VA!!
