Inn on Randolph

Extremely disappointing experience, as it looks like has been the case for many others in recent months. The website states you will be treated to a gourmet gluten free breakfast experience, but when the time came for breakfast, we were notified no such breakfast is served anymore. Weird given it’s clearly advertised on the website and instagram. The rooms are somewhat outdated, no staff on site. Coffee selection is Amazon branded happy belly espresso pods. Not what I’d expect for somewhere charging $400+ per night.

Gone Way downhill! I visited several years ago, and it was fabulous, but the place was dirty. There was gluten food in the room that hadn't been cleaned up and I have celiac, so I didn't feel safe there. I told the staff, and they took the gluten food away, but the room had not been cleaned well. Their breakfast was barely edible - in the past it was divine. I do not recommend! Horrible experience. I was embarrassed that I took my sister there!

I would go back. Neighborhood is easy to walk into downtown Napa. Its quiet and safe. We stayed in the Fowler Cottage and its very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we chose it two out of our three days just due to the fact that its only served between 8-8:30am. The Inn is not staffed full time, all communication is through text messaging. Our first night there we were the ONLY guests and the only people on the property. The second two nights the Inn was busy with other guests but we never really saw anyone. We felt the price met the comfort of the Inn.

+ Fowler Cottage was lovely (Great bathtub, comfortable bed) + Quiet, safe neighborhood, and near Napa Downtown + The check in online worked quite well and we were able to enter out cottage without issues. ( no staff is available during check in or out!) - Breakfast was a huge dissapointment. Not at all what they mention on their website. First and last photo are what they mention on their website and others what we got during our stay. The quality and amount was just not gourmet like. Food was bland, sometimes cold and very dry. - We received text and also emails about the breakfast, ones our response did not show on their system so we received a text „no breakfast tomorrow?“. It was also confusing if we will receive the breakfast to our cottage or if the breakfast is at the main buildin

So disappointed. Stayed here a few years back. Had a great experience but things have definitely changed. All three couples were very disappointed. Quality has gone down, accommodations are not up to par, and no one is available to even answer the phone. The staff member that arrives at 7:00 am to make “breakfast” is not the issue . It appears that the owner/ management has totally neglected the upkeep of the buildings and has lost interest in running a boutique inn. We will not return.
