Quality Inn Winnemucca - Model T Casino

Definitely an older hotel and under renovation. Beds were comfortable, but the room needed a good cleaning. The coffee pot and hair dryer need to be replaced. Service was good. The complimentary breakfast in the casino was good. Loved our morning waitress.

The rooms are in fair shape. They are comfortable and reasonably appointed. The first floor hallway had blowers and fans running, presumably to dry out the hallway carpet for the entirety of our stay. There appeared to be a number of children on all floors of the hotel indicating several families living in the hotel and the hollow walls and floors made sure every step of running was heard throughout most of the building. The room was fairly clean but upon check in there were a number of hairs in the bathtub (more than 10 easily visible) from a previous guest and the bathroom sink drain but very slowly leaving a small pool of water in the sink continuously.

The property is undergoing serious renovations and upgrades. I think it will be top notch once completed. They will never be able to get rid of the road noise issues but otherwise it is going to be a decent mid price property. The staff was outstanding and friendly. Props to Alex at the front desk. The restaurant was very good, other than really weak coffee ☕.

The staff was friendly and respectful in the motel and restaurant. The bed was good. |The room did not feel clean enough. There were balls of dust on the floor in the corners and we had to clean the coffee pot in order to use it. The windows were smudged. The pool looked good but was closed.

Overall a good experience. The hotel was nice. It is a combination hotel/casino/restaurant. The included breakfast is served in the restaurant, they issue you a breakfast coupon that gives you the option of 3 different breakfast choices or two dollars off a menu item, so I was thinking the breakfast options would be small amounts (i.e. $2 worth of food). Not so, the breakfast was a regular restaurant size serving. The eggs/sausage option consisted of a large platter of hash browns/eggs/your choice of one of two meats/coffee or tea. The staff was friendly/helpful. The room was clean, but supplies were not stocked as they should be, the shampoo was almost empty and the bedding for the pull out bed were not in the room.
