Best Western Plus Gold Country Inn

Checked in late and got the last room. It was one of the units with the kitchenette. Though I was only passing thru and not staying more than a night, I would recommend requesting this room if you're going to be in the area for a few days. Having a full size fridge in the room would be a huge plus for families. I didn't check out any of the amenities, as I just grabbed breakfast and hit the road. If I'm in the area again, I'll stop here for sure.

Positive: Very nice front desk staff, quick check in and she gave diner recommendation for the next day.Breakfast was great before hitting the road. super auto coffee and hot chocolate machine, they have to go cups for the road! Room was very clean. Negative: My ONLY negative was the bad smell in the elevator, I share this part because everything else was 100% great.

The staff are very nice. Room was nice and comfortable and clean. Location to other casinos within walking distance. If we were to come through Winnemucca again we'd stay here.

My party of 3 was on our way back from a trip to Washington, after driving for about 13 hours, we were beyond happy to make it to our hotel. We had a trailer attached to our car, since we were helping a friend move and we had a couple choices of where to park that. If it were the busy season i might call ahead to ask since it was not actually trailer specific parking. It was late, almost 1 am but the person at the front desk (Debra, iirc) was ready to get us all set and send us to our room quick and painless. The room was clean and stocked. Both beds looked good. We didnt shower but there were no issues with water from the sink. Although we did think it was a bit funny that there were what appeared to be rfid trackers or something in the towels. It is a nice motel but rather expensive compared to other Best Westerns as you travel across the country. It was clean, everything was in good order. Breakfast was fine with eggs, sausage and the usual things. The only deterrent would be the cost if you are just travelling through.
