Winnemucca RV Park

1/2 a star!!!! I stay there for 2 months. I had some leaking and management took it upon themselves to close down my tanks not knowing I was dripping my sink and bathroom tub because its been cold at night, only gave me a call AFTER my tank were closed, not before. When I got back to my trailer that night at 11pm, the entire underside of my trailer was soaked and when I went inside my trailer, soaked as well. When I approached the manager about it the next day, he took no responsibility and just said, "that I was on HIS property." I guess Winnemucca RV doesn't care about a paying customers property.

Stayed for one night in July 2024. It is basically a gravel parking lot. Pull-through sites are all "buddy sites" very close together, so close two RVs with pull-outs would probably be touching! Every two sites shares a picnic table that is very old and decrepit. The whole property is old, decrepit and not kept up. Weeds are everywhere. Trash litters the property. the dumpsters were overflowing on our visit. There is NO dog run, that is totally false. The strip of dead grass along a fenceline is littered with dog poo. And 3/4 of the property is full of full time residents, you can tell by the refrigerator size propane tanks at each trailer, more trash and junk cars. The office is sporadically closed, it was when we tried to check in. Bathrooms are dirty. Really, for $45 a night this is abs

We stopped overnight at Winnamucca RV Park on our RV vacation. I had booked our reservation in advance. The front office check-in was a breeze, and the staff was very nice. The park has a store with some items to purchase, like snacks (ice cream), cold beverages, and complementary coffee. There were DVD movies to borrow and watch and some books. The park is dog friendly. Full hookup including cable and sewer.

We got to the park after office hours. They had our paper work in the night box for us and we went in the next morning to pay for our reservation. Stay was great. Nice easy location off the freeway with full hookups. Gravel parking spots. Pet friendly but no grass just weeds full of foxtails. But doable. Pool was not open at all even though it was high 80 degree temperatures. Not really any shade either. We paid for 7 nights. Had an emergency come up and had to leave a day early. The office wasn't open when we left. Called in to let them know we had left and was told no refund on the last day. Was told company policy have to give 72 hour notice. That was not stated at the time of check in.

So close to other sites slides barely come out. Put us in a site too short for our camper. They do have hook ups, and you'll need them bc facilities are downright nasty. Hair wads in girls shower, backed up toilets in guys, 2 showers for 100 sites, and absolutely the worst we've stayed. Wifi doesn't work and I attached a pic of the speed I was getting. I think it should be illegal to post a rate for amenities, not offer those as advertised, and keep my money as charged for services not received.
