Town House Motel

Nice respite. The room was old and run down but the bed was so comfortable. Who cares if the furniture is outdated and the lamp shade is dented? Everything was VERY clean, staff was friendly and accommodating and funny. The price was really good for a last minute, clean and comfy room. Would stay again.||***PILLOWS ARE FLAT. WE BRING OUR OWN BUT STAFF WILL BRING YOU MORE IF YOU DON'T AND NEED TO STACK***

I don't see how this place could possibly have the high reviews it does, locals must have boosted it for a discount or something. The reviews is why I picked it. We showed up at 930pm. It's 19 degrees outside, we're tired, from driving 12 hours, cold and wanting to get ready for bed and go straight to sleep.The office smelled badly of cigarettes. We check in and go to our room. The room was just as cold as the outside. They didn't bother even turning on the heater at a low temp to keep it reasonable temp for arrivals. The carpet was so cold, you couldn't tell if it was wet or just cold. The tile in the bathroom felt like stepping into snow. It took about 90 minutes before the room was even about 68 degrees and warm enough to sleep. There were cigarettes burns on the pillows and the shower

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room we stayed in for one night at the Town House Motel in Winnemucca, NV. The two chairs at the table in the room had unsightly and off-putting stains on the upholstered seats, so we only used them to hold our luggage. The shower/tub had a wad (not just a few) of hair on the side of the tub. The top of the shower glass was dirty/greasy, so much so my partner thought it important to clean it herself. The TV remote was grimy. All of this added to a general sense of unease with touching anything in the room. We stay in a lot of different types of lodging, and while this wasn't the worst, it was very poor. Next time we overnight in Winnemucca, we will look for an alternative place.

3 stars for room. It's a much older spot, and much in need of some updating. From the tiled shower/tubs to the bed spreads. Some stains here n there, coukd use some fresh paint. It's a dry place to sleep. The heater worked well. Microwave and TV worked. Just needs some remodeling/ updating.

Positive: The sheets seemed clesn Negative: It was pretty disgusting. I would definitely have cancelled if I could have. Not going to use a booking service because of this anymore. There were old socks, kitty litter, crumpled paper under the bed. Yuck! The shower hadn’t been cleaned
