Quality Inn Weeki Wachee - Spring Hill

This was very close to the springs kayaking that we wanted to do (which btw are amazing!). |The staff were pretty helpful, but that is pretty much where the positives ended. The inside of the bottom floor room (#101) was large, but definitely not 3stars worthy or the $160USD/night. In essence, it was filthy and run down. Some examples: |Grimy high-contact surfaces such as light switches and doors that were covered in what must have been several month’s worth of grimy hands handling their edges. |Rusted bathroom fittings. |Filthy bathroom floors that a half-assed attempt at mopping in select areas could be clearly seen. |A rusted fridge on the inside and out that also leaked all over the floor. |Water-stained mouldy bed under sheets. ||We were exhausted by a long drive and only needed to sl

I am very satisfied with everything — the cleanliness, comfort, and especially the friendliness of your staff. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the names of the employees who helped me, but they always recognized me, greeted me warmly, and made me feel welcome every time I arrived. I have stayed here many of times, and everything was good. This time the room smelled like dog or dust or both. Swiped my finger on a part of the top of the bed and there was dust 1/4 inch thick. Hard to find a tv channel also. The breakfast…. Well the coffee was good. Will probably not stay here again. I told the front desk girl about the tv and she sent maintenance, still no help with finding channels but then she came to see if it got fixed and I mentioned how it stunk in there, smelled like dog she accused me of smoking in the room. There were 2 older gentleman that was always outside when I went out to smoke plus had to get out of the room it was making my eyes water and my nose run. Won’t be staying here again.

No hot water! No apology. They did let me move all my luggage to another room with no hot water and a phone that didnt work. I called the desk on my cellphone to have the night clerk argue with me that the water is running hot. She’ll come check it again when shes not busy. SMH. meanwhile its closing on midnight

Well, it’s clean but other than that absolutely no frills. I feel like I’m in jail Cell. Overpriced! TV remote doesn’t work, but I would rather complain about it then actually go down until the lady and get it fixed. It’s almost 10 o’clock and I’m tired or I would’ve found something cheaper. The bed is metal like a fold out bed. Just weird again I feel like I’m in a bougie boot camp. Oh yeah, the water bottles are three dollars so is a tiny bag of Cheez-Its.. lol but seriously.. ahhhhh
