Hernando Beach Motel

This place is a gem. Cute, quaint old Florida on the outside, new and modern on the inside with a super clean laundromat, cute little store, boat rentals, etc. The front desk clerk (Jen) has excellent customer service skills, friendly, and professional. Staying here for a few days until my residence is ready to move into. I have my two well-behaved dogs so super pet friendly. Being right on the Gulf makes the atmosphere outstanding. Would definitely recommend👍🏼

My husband and I rented a pontoon boat and were very pleased w/ the rental. Melanie , who gave us great info on what to do and not do was very efficient and friendly. She showed us 2 rooms in the hotel . We would have been happy there, but she encouraged us to stay at the Captain's house and we were very impressed with the amenities, linens, and top notch accomodations. The spacious home had a heated pool in the shape of a ship, many remarkable statues , and lots of areas to watch all the activities on the canal. We would love to return!

5 stars across the board. My wife and I had a miserable flight into TPA and then our rental car had issues. We got to the hotel early drained and beat from our adventure. The person I think at the front desk could tell. We asked if we could check in a few minutes early, and she sent someone over to get the room ready for us early. That's customer service. We were in town to look at homes the beginning of August. The room was super spacious and right on the water. I'd say we would stay here again in a heartbeat, but we ended up buying a home in Hernando Beach. :-)

Came for my mother in laws surprise 90th birthday! Everything was wonderful. Very accommodating for everyone. Everyone one was very pleased . We will be back! Great place.

The Hernando Beach Motel and Captains Boat Rental were the best! Our room was a one bed with Kitchennete with a great view. The room was sparking clean and very modern. The outdoor patio was a great place for morning coffee and was equipped with a BBQ grill that was perfect for grilling with the family after a day on the water. The Captain’s boats were up to date and well equipped for fun and safety. Jenienne was personable and professional with operation and directions to the Flats. When in the Tampa Bay area come give these folks a try. It’s a fun relaxing time the whole family will enjoy!
