Holiday Inn Express & Suites Spring Hill by IHG

Updating review as I posted this as soon as we were checked in and coffee in hand…. Original review: Staff very friendly. Hotel is clean.Love that they have free coffee/tea machine in lobby! Same as above except should point out that the Lobby and hallways were clean. The room was not the best for cleanliness. Chair in the room has large stain. Shower did not get hot until last 30-45 seconds of shower. Lotion provided on wall in bathroom has been refilled with water I assume. It was pure liquid. Two of the pillows smelled like Red Bull 🤮 So, I hate to give bad reviews but for the money this was not worth it. The elevator is broken also. Which I realize is out of their control. They did offer for us to cancel for free. But no discount to stay. Lol! Not really the kind of place we are use

The rooms were very neat. You have control over the thermostat so the rooms are quite comfortable. They’re large and the bathrooms are well stocked with good quality soaps, shampoos. My hair did not frizz at all! The continental breakfast was incredibly varied. One morning I had pancakes and another I had oatmeal and yogurt. There was plenty of cereal, eggs, and sausage as well. I didn’t use the pool myself, but I saw families having a blast in the pool and it got quite very quickly once evening rolled around. No trouble sleeping here. Highly recommend hanging your hat here when in Spring Hill.

Positive: The staff at this hotel was not only friendly, but Hotel employee offered some really great dinner suggestions. Cody’s in particular. She was a breath of fresh air. Very friendly and likeable. Negative: Elevator was not working. Traveling with three women all past their mid sixties was challenging. But, we got through it. The cleaning staff can do a little better.

This Hotel DOES NOT meet ADA compliance. This Hotel will illegally charge your card. This Hotel has staff that will argue, cuss at you and lie. If this hotel doesn’t believe any of this, they can see ALL of the videos as we continue to post them to social media. This was by far the most insulting and disgusting experience we’ve ever had traveling. If anyone in your family is disabled, PLEASE PLEASE CONFIRM they have a 1st floor room. The ELEVATORS HAVE BEEN BROKEN FOR MONTHS. BETTER YET, Stay elsewhere and do not support this business until they fix these horrible issues. Our check in process started a little bit weird as her first words was she messaged us about their “broken elevator”??? First of all, I used my new IHG membership ID on this reservation and not the decades long membership ID that my husband had . So, NO we did not received any advice that it was broken. I now updated that after this incident. The common areas are well kept , breakfast is maintained pretty well.. with clean tables and concession. The second floor hallways stink and our room also smells like a wet dog but we are thankful that our room was refreshed on our second day of stay which is pretty standard. We do not stay in the room during the day so we don’t mind this much. Hilton express is one of the Practically priced ones amongst the IHG group of hotel but we never expect g
