Quality Inn Tulsa Central

Like some of the other reviews say the pictures are very misleading about this place. I wouldn't even give it two Stars. If I wasn't hard pressed for a place to sleep I would have changed hotels immediately once I saw the room. It was not even clean except for the bed sheets. The tub had a dark black residue at the bottom of it and only one out of about eight of the shower head squirters worked. I used an iron to check the bed for bed bugs because you could tell when you lifted up the sheets and blankets that the mattresses were really old and worn and had holes in them. I had to request another roll of toilet paper because there was only one in my room and it took three attempts just to get housekeeping there to give me one extra roll. If you are a man working in the area or passing through and need a cheap place to stay this would work. It is close to the exit and has several places close to eat. If you have kids with you, do not stay here. You would not want them on the floor and touching everything. The biggest problem was the bathroom. At a glance I could see hair, short and long, on the floor, on & in the tub, & on the shower wall. The sink did not drain and we only had 1 towel and no washcloth. The heat never went above 65 and I set it at 73 right when we walked in the door. The breakfast was waffles (note said batter in a fridge), biscuits were on a plate sitting in the microwave, gravy, cereal, & apple juice. It did not look good. First bad thing was the receptionist was a touch rude. We get our key and try to go upstairs the elevator is out of service. We tried the door to the stairs outside and it is locked. We go inside and try the doors to the stairs and it is jammed. We had to walk to the end of the building to go up the stairs on the outside. Upon entry to our room the light switch does not turn on the lights. We go into the bathroom and the bathtub faucet does not shut off and is constantly running water. The bathtub is disgusting. There's a screw coming out of the wall that holds the switch plate on, does anybody do any maintenance on this place? I'm not one to complain but I definitely leave reviews for places that are absolutely amazing or horrendously horrible, you can guess which one this is.

Positive: I booked this hotel & decided to stay another day so I rebooked it for another 2, thinking that it included my prior booking and I ended up booking it twice. I had to do nothing no complain not even ask staff seen my error and added the day on to the end. Negative: ""

The room, lobby and grounds were very clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet and I felt safe leaving and returning throughout the day and evening. The coffee in the morning was hot and delicious.
