Quality Inn Sweetwater I-20

Quality Inn is just off I20 on the edge of Streetwater in an area with other hotels and several restaurants. There is plenty of parking. We would recommend checking in and then driving to an entrance door near your room. It is a spread out motel. Outer doors are secured and opened with the key card.|The gardens were well-kept and the pool area clean.|The room had fridge, fast WiFi and adequate air con. The beds were comfortable. We were away from the freeway so sleep was not disturbed.|There was plenty of hot water for the shower but housekeeping could not find a plug (stopper) so the bath (tub) could not be used. Towels were soft and toiletries sufficient.|Hot breakfast was tasty and the juice didn't taste diluted. Items were rapidly restocked. |Good value for a convenient relaxed night.

We had car trouble and needed to stay in Sweetwater for two nights. Ended up at this hotel. The rate was reasonable, breakfast was good and the room was average. What excelled was the service and staff. Julie A. at the front desk was exceptional. She helped us get a decent room during a busy week and was extra helpful has we dealt with our car issues. Another exceptional staff was Rita C. She is responsible for making, setting up and clean up of the breakfast each day. She overheard the issues and problem solving we were trying to do with our car and when she found out we could not get a ride to the adjoining town to pick up a U-Haul truck, she graciously offered to drive us there when she got off work. Services are limited in Sweetwater and the staff at the Quality Inn makes up for

I booked through Expedia and accidentally booked for the date that was a Sunday because it was after midnight but we needed the room right then cause we had been driving for all day. The desk told us to just contact Expedia and they would call and verify that they didn’t have rooms and it would be all good. She lied. They contacted the property and they refused to refund via Expedia. So they took the money and we didn't even stay there. The place was dirty and smelled bad when you walk in so I’m glad we didn’t get a room but mad they stole our money.

We really like staying at this hotel. We stay there about 4 to 6 times a year. Its clean, convenient, comfortable beds, and they serve a better breakfast than most hotels. They also accommodate our dogs. We will continue to stay here!!

I booked a stay at Quality Inn Sweetwater I-20 during a winter storm that affected much of North America. I tried to contact the hotel via Booking more than 24 hours before check-in to cancel for free, but received no response. Later, I tried to get a no-show invoice for my insurance claim, but again, the hotel never replied. While the hotel itself may be fine, the lack of communication and support caused significant inconvenience.
