Mulberry Manor Bed and Breakfast and Event Venue

My family and I went on a road trip across Texas to hike in Big Bend and stopped halfway down and then again halfway back. We wanted to stay in unique places and I feel so incredibly lucky that I saw this place!! The entire experience started off so nicely when Kim (one of the owners) called us the day we were arriving to ask about our arrival time so her or her husband Mark could be there to welcome us, and she also offered to make us an early continental breakfast since we were leaving before 8am the next day. It was so kind, but we declined because we were good to grab food on the road so we could get home. But that level of customer service and genuine kindness was a perfect example of our stay! We almost always stay at B&Bs, and Mulberry Manor jumped into our top 3. We will definitely try to stay there again if we are passing through Sweetwater. The house itself has an interesting history and has been beautifully remodeled and reconfigured by Kim and Mark. |We stayed in the Trammell Suite which was, at one time, the ballroom. Both the main room and the bath were huge. It was very comfortable and a great place to relax after a long drive.|Breakfast the next morning was delicious and featured some locally sourced jellies with a jalapeno kick and some wonderful sausage. Even better was the conversation with our hosts and the other guests. We planned on leaving right after breakfast, but were having too much fun enjoying the Texas hospitality.

I stayed at Mulberry Manor for a month, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The property is extremely clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully maintained. I stayed in the Trammel Suite, which was phenomenal—especially the bathtub, which was absolutely amazing for relaxing baths! Kim and Mark are incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts. Their hospitality is unmatched, and they are quick to address any concerns or needs that may come up. I felt completely at home during my stay and will genuinely miss being there. If you’re considering staying at Mulberry Manor, do it. You won’t regret it!

Much better than a hotel experience! Mark and Kim were fantastic hosts. We stayed the night here on our road trip from Dallas to Big Bend and I can't recommend it enough. The rooms were cozy and the historic preservation of the manor gave it a unique and classical feeling. In the morning Mark and Kim made a delicious breakfast that accommodated my wife's gluten allergy. This is a wonderful place to stop if you are traveling through West Texas.

Every detail in making our weekend happen reflected their deep commitment to excellence. Mulberry Manor is more than just a beautiful setting — it’s a place where you feel truly taken care of. Kim, Mark, and their exceptional team have set the bar high, and we can’t recommend it enough.
