We have stayed at the hotel a few times over the past few years. It seems to have gone down hill. The pool needs a deep cleaning. You swiped your had through the water and would get hair every-time on your hand. The beds were so so for comfort. We had some minor trouble with the AC unit but not enough to talk to the hotel about. The key cards kept not working if they get the slightest scratch on the card. Breakfast wasn’t to bad. It’s definitely a budget friendly hotel but it allowed us a sleep and shower for the weekend so it did the job
Very friendly staff (mostly), but the check-in girl forgot to tell us when breakfast is and we almost missed it (we got in pretty late the first night). The rooms always smell musty and a little smoky (?) but it's one of the only hotels in the area that can fit our whole family in one room. If you have a portable air purifier, bring it. Price is reasonable. The pool is old and a little cold, but the kids didn't care; they still had plenty of fun in it. Hot tub was VERY hot! (Not a complaint, just an FYI).
They charged me $50 for a service dog. When I booked the room it said pet friendly. It didn't say there would be an additional charge at the hotel. But when I got there, the clerk said you can pay the money or go elsewhere but it's not refundable. They don't disclose that online. The rooms were fabulous.
This motel is in a great location, close to the freeway, food, and stores. The check in staff was kind and professional. There are 2 different buildings. The pool and kitchen were closed in our building, so you have to walk across the parking lot to go to the other building for those things. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were disgusting. There was weird stuff floating all around. Not dirt or anything, but like hair and some kind of white substance. You get the idea. There was a huge clump of hair on the pool floor and when my husband got up from soaking is feet, there were ants where he was sitting. The room was also questionable. The heat did not work in our room. It just blew cold. Luckily the room got warm enough when we turned it off. The bedding and pillows are big and squishy and
Stayed in Building B. Older part of hotel. Hallways smelled like smoked as soon as you entered. Could use a good deep cleaning to make it smell better.Room was okay but not great. Mattresses were very uncomfortable. Pillows were ok. Showers were manageable. Breakfast had a good selection of sausage, eggs, pastries, muffins, cereal, etc. Apple and orange juice, coffee. Probably not stay here again.
