Quality Inn & Suites South San Jose / Morgan Hill

Booking claims they sent Quality an email asking to cancel on my behalf due to a medical emergency. This is after I spoke to the hotel directly informing them of the emergency and the man told me they would have canceled it if I had booked with the hotel directly. I told him the email was coming. He said ok. But they never approved it. I had a true medical emergency and neither the hotel or Booking refunded it. Also the photos for this hotel are a lie. Completely.

Absolutely no words other than very poor service & filthy rooms. Health department needs to look into this facility. The photos did not document the disappointment nor smell of the place. Zero stars if I could. Choice hotels also lost a customer. Poor service on their end as well with trying to book another hotel. Photos- No pipe under the sink, water fell through onto the floor. Filthy sink. Stained/molded door. Mold on the curtains & BED. Curtains were falling apart. Mind you , we have small children in which they couldn't have gotten seriously sick from this.

I stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites in Morgan Hill (Oct 17–18, 2025), and it was awful. The hallways were filthy with trash, old mattresses, and debris everywhere. Our room looked semi-clean at first, but when my 13-year-old daughter and I returned the next night, a rat had chewed through our trash bag inside the room. She was terrified and had nightmares afterward. We packed up and left immediately. The manager agreed to refund us, but the conditions were unacceptable. The manager even told us that “The Rat” goes through the building when a door is left open, so they are aware of the problem and have made no effort to correct it. There was no telephone in the room in case of emergency, broken glass on the window sill, and no bath mat to prevent slipping on the floor. The TV didn’t work

The hallway smells really bad. Rooms are horrible. Rooms have mold. Walls are full of holes. The "non smoking" room we had smells of cigarette. And also had cigarette burns on comforter and pillows. Also fridge had old food in it. Just very unpleasant and uncomfortable. I would not recommend to anyone.

The only remotely good thing about this hotel was the location. These room were a bio hazard: dirty sheets,stains everywhere, broken outlets,trash in hallways, dirty bathrooms,one towel per room. Breakfast was disgusting and unsanitary. My family didn't feel brave enough to try the pool.If want a enjoyable stay go somewhere else don't waste your money.
