Quality Inn & Suites Santa Rosa South

Room was fine given the price point, it was neat for me especially for a quick business trip. That being said I wouldn't ever take my family here. Service was fine again for this price point I would say they're up to par. Location is not ideal, I didn't have a lot of time to research before booking otherwise I would have paid a little more to be in a more central area. Biggest cons are the cleanliness of the commons spaces. Stairwells are in need of a deep clean. You can detect the smell of "funny cigarettes" in various parts of the premises.

I'm never disappointed when I stay here which is why I return regularly. The staff here are friendly, courteous and accommodating. Everything that can make the difference between a good stay and a horrible one, clean, all things that should be in room are there, all appliances are in working order, ice machine working,etc. are as they should be. Reasonable cost. What more could u ask. In fact, I didn't check out on Oct 31, I extended my stay until the 6th of Nov. Keep up the good work and thanks for always making my stay a good and pleasant one.

Room and linens/towels were immaculately clean. Love that the room had NO carpet - laminate floors in the whole room. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room. Had no issues with anything - everything worked and was in good order. As others in previous reviews have said, sound travels into the room very easily from the hallway - but it didn't bother us as we weren't in the room much and are heavy sleepers. Our room door had seen better days and could stand to be replaced, but nothing about it affected my opinion of the room/property. Front desk staff for afternoon check-in was polite and accommodating. Definitely a two-star hotel. Bed was very uncomfortable and squeaky. Bathroom fan did not work. Heating smelled like something was burning. Ants in the breakfast area. Very noisy neighbors. Decided to check out early and sleep in the car instead. Staff was accommodating where they could be. Location was convenient to highway, restaurants and shopping. Too bad there wasn’t more attention paid to quality at this inn.

The mini fridge was too loud to tolerate, which explained why it was unplugged and leaking water on the floor when we arrived. The bathroom emitted an odd smell... mildew mixed with a septic smell? The beds were too hard for me to sleep well at all, and the walls had food splatter still crusted on them. Ew. I cleaned a bit upon arrival and also noticed the mattresses are not encased. Surprising for a hotel. Just kinda disappointing, although the breakfast was ok and the price low enough to justify the shortcomings, I guess.
