Quality Inn & Suites near Downtown Bakersfield

A nice hotel with good prices and a nice staff. The check-in person was welcoming. I felt safe and the lighting was nice inside. The parking was easy but the surroundings felt a bit dirty and sketchy. The hotel location was convenient, and my room was comfortable and clean for its cost. Overall, a good deal for the price.

Everything was very clean, the lobby smelled like vanilla. I felt very safe with all the locks and the fact that the hotel was "indoors." Parking wasnt an issue at all and we were able to leave pretty early in the morning. It is on Union ave so it wasnt exactly quiet at night tho. I dont blame the hotel but the person who chose to put it there lol.

Positive: There was a large living room Negative: Crazy loud party with 20 rude and disrespectful guests that management allowed and basically supported by keeping them there, cockroach in bathroom, A/C in bedroom made a loud noise at night that I had to turn it off and get hot, wifi is bad

I love staying here. Customer service is amazing, staff is really nice. They always help with extra accommodations like extra pillows or an occasional late check out. Would love a bit more variety on breakfast though.

’m a Platinum member with Choice Hotels and have stayed at many Quality Inns, but this location on Union Ave. in Bakersfield was a huge disappointment. I accidentally booked for the wrong night and arrived the following day. Instead of being understanding or even speaking with me, the manager refused to listen to my situation. No partial refund, no credit, and no discount were offered despite my loyalty status. This is not the kind of treatment I’ve experienced at other Quality Inns and reflects poorly on management.
