The location was convenient and the room was comfortable and spacious. I was surprised how quiet it was given the proximity to the interstate. I appreciated that they allow pets and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast unfortunately had limited options and didn’t offer any healthy alternatives. Also, I had an issue with a leak in my room that couldn’t be resolved. However, the hotel staff and management were super responsive, which I really appreciated. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

I enjoyed a quick overnight stay at the Quality Inn, Lexington, NC. Room was probably a (4 out of 5) for cleanliness and the shower was great. Good breakfast as well. Best improvement for breakfast would be fresh brewed coffee instead of the "push button for coffee" machine that must come from some sort of concentrate. This is my second stay at this hotel and I would return back if in the area.

Bait‑and‑switch at Check‑in – $150 cash demand despite prepaid reservation I booked a room on the Choice Hotels website using my personal account and paid in full for a non-refundable rate. I also left a note that I would be arriving late because of a delayed flight to Greensboro (GSO). Up to that point everything looked fine. When I arrived at the front desk after midnight, the staff demanded an additional $150 in cash. I pointed out that this was highly unusual—my reservation was already prepaid and non-refundable—and asked why cash was now being demanded. After a brief protest, they finally checked me in without taking the cash and simply placed my credit card on file for incidentals, which is how reputable hotels normally handle such situations. Positive: Location and the room was nice. Negative: Floor was clean to the appearance but spilled some water and had to get it up with those nice white towels and it was very dirty. Did not address it with staff, because I didn't sleep on the floor.

I was charged $3.00 per night for a happy hour that doesn't exist. The weekday breakfast is very basic, but better on the weekends. I received no housekeeping during a 6 night stay.
